The organisers fo the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival claim a surge in demand for tickets for the festival generated sales of £209,449 in the first 24 hours of release – with 173 events selling out completely in that time.

The Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival has appointed two volunteer directors to join the board for the 17^th edition of the event this month. 

Laura Sharp, who was part of the project team behind Diageo’s £40 million Roseisle distillery, is one of three new directors to join the board of the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival.
